The last issue of the Bulletin reported on the new data base we are using to prepare court approved mailing lists for posting on our internet site. The new system will show the date a list is updated. The prior practice of using a specific date in January and July to identify a mailing list is no longer in effect. It will be necessary to check the Court Approved Mailing Lists page on our internet site to determine the date of a particular mailing list. The updated date appears in numeric form in the last line of the title at the top of the first page of each mailing list as shown in the following example:

In re Amended and Restated White Mountain Apache Tribe Water Rights Quantification Agreement: On December 18, 2014, the Court heard oral argument to consider the Settling Parties' motions for summary disposition of objections. Eleven claimants filed objections or comments. The Court dismissed the objections and signed judgments and decrees approving the quantification agreement in both the Gila River Adjudication (Part 1 and Part 2) and Little Colorado River Adjudication. The agreement permanently resolves the water rights claims of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and its members and provides for the construction of a water delivery system. The approval of this agreement marks the eighth Indian water rights agreement that has been approved in the adjudications. Arizona has approved more Indian water rights settlements than any other Western state.
Subflow Zone Map of the San Pedro River Watershed: On November 6, 2014, the Court held a hearing on both this matter and two motions concerning the commencement of a subflow contested case in the Verde River Watershed. Orders concerning the hearing had not been filed at press time.
In re San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area: The Special Master set a status conference on October 7, 2014, to consider a revised briefing schedule. Following the conference, the Special Master vacated the remaining pending briefing schedule and set new time lines for the United States to provide all requested discovery, filing expert witness reports, and completing discovery. On November 21, 2014, the Special Master reviewed the matter with the parties who are diligently working to comply with the current discovery schedule.
In re Fort Huachuca: On November 21, 2014, the Court held a conference. Orders concerning the conference had not been filed at press time.
In re PWR 107 Claims: The United States and the San Carlos Apache Tribe have been discussing possible resolutions concerning the sixteen springs that remain to be adjudicated in this contested case. On November 21, 2014, the Special Master held a status conference. The prospects for a settlement agreement are very good. The Tribe's governing Council plans to review this matter and any potential agreement. Following the conference, the Special Master directed these parties to submit a status report or a settlement agreement by March 13, 2015. The Special Master reiterated the procedures that will be implemented following the submission of a settlement agreement. The process calls for a technical report from the Arizona Department of Water Resources.
In re Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness Area: On November 6, 2014, the Court held a status conference. Orders concerning the conference had not been filed at press time.
In re Applications of Salt River Project for Injunctive Relief: The Salt River Project filed a motion for summary judgment in the matters involving Respondents David R. Henry, Kathy S. Henry, Michael C. Kasper, and Judy L. Kasper. Following the respondents' deadline to answer Salt River Project's motion for summary judgment, the Project withdrew its motion, but not its application for injunctive relief, and reserved the right to refile the motion. A tentative settlement has been reached with two respondents.
Margaret B. LaBianca: Ms. LaBianca has been appointed a Court Commissioner of the Maricopa County Superior Court. She will join the bench later this month. We extend our congratulations and best wishes.
