Workshops and Classes

Court Departments conduct workshops of classes to help individuals with various court processes. Below is information regarding the classes or workshops offered by the respective departments.

Law Library Resource Center
The Law Library offers the following classes:
  • Petition for Dissolution - Thursdays at 11:00 am in the Law Library
  • Basic Legal Research - Thursdays at 2:30 pm in the Law Library
  • Coversheets - Wednesdays at 10:30 am - check in at the Law Library
Family Court Department
The Family Court Department conducts free workshops for the following processes:
  • Establishment of Paternity, Legal Decision Making (Custody), Parenting Time and Child Support;
  • Modification of Child Support;
  • Modification of Child Support and Stop/Change Income Withholding Order;

Probate Court Department
The Probate Department conducts free workshops for the following processes:
  • Inventory of Assets;
  • Completing the Accounting Form;
  • Supporting Documents;

Please check Probate Court's website for upcoming Accounting workshops. Probate Court also has online tutorial videos you can view on Guardianship and Accounting.

Restoration of Civil Rights Workshop
Workshops to assist individual with completing paperwork to restore civil rights or to reduce a class 6 undesignated felony to a misdemeanor are held at the Downtown Justice Center. For information regarding dates and times for the workshops, please call (602) 372-6803.
