When you can File for an Injunction Against Harassment
According to Arizona law, harassment must involve a series of acts. Just one incident, no matter how much it
bothers you, does not constitute legal harassment. According to the law this series of acts:
- can be spread over a long or short period of time; and
- must be the same or similar types of repetitive act against you; and
- must be directed at you; and
- must seriously alarm, annoy, or harass you without serving a legitimate purpose; and
- must be such as would cause a reasonable person to suffer substantial emotional distress; and
- must actually cause you to suffer substantial emotional distress
