Superior Court >Probate And Mental Health >Probate Court Investigations Probate Court Investigations - Volunteers Volunteers are Needed Court Visitors serve as the court's eyes and ears, by visiting persons under guardianship to see whether they appear to be receiving appropriate care. Court Visitors report their findings to the court for appropriate action. As a volunteer, you will receive initial training and ongoing support from the court.

Volunteer Office Sites and Times of Service

The Guardianship Review Program is run by Court Staff at several office sites around Maricopa County. These sites are as follows:

  • Phoenix - Area Agency of Aging, 1366 E. Thomas, Phoenix, AZ
  • South Scottsdale - Scottsdale Senior Center
  • North Scottsdale - Northeast Regional Court Center
  • Surprise - Northwest Regional Court Center, 14264 W. Tierra Buena Lane, Surprise, AZ
  • Mesa - 222 W. Javalina, Mesa, AZ

Volunteer Site Coordinators are at the various site locations at various times of the work week 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Volunteers can pick the time that they wish to visit the incapacitated person. Many of the Volunteers choose to make their visits during the weekend or early evening hours.
