TO GET A CONSENT JUDGMENT FOR PATERNITY
  • You or the other party filed a Petition to Establish Paternity, Legal Decision-Making (Custody), Parenting Time, and Child Support OR Petition to Establish Legal Decision-Making (Custody), Parenting Time, and Child Support, AND,
  • You and the other party agree on ALL of the terms in the proposed court order (a "Consent Judgment"), including: Legal Decision-Making (Legal Custody), Parenting Time, Child Support, and Paternity (ONLY IF Paternity needs to be established), AND,
  • You and the other parent will provide your notarized signatures on the Consent Judgment to indicate your agreement on all terms; AND,
  • You and the other party have attended or will attend the Parent Information Program (PIP) before you provide the Consent Judgment to the Court;
This packet contains general information and/or court forms and instructions about how to get a paternity decree by consent when both parties agree or consent to the decree and the terms of the decree. Be sure the documents are in the following order:
