Former Superior Court Commissioner Susan Brnovich will be sworn in as a Superior Court Judge on February 17th at 12:30 pm in the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, 205 W. Jefferson, Phoenix. The public is invited to attend.
Judge Brnovich was appointed by Governor Janet Napolitano in January and has been assigned to the criminal court department.
She served as a court commissioner for five years, handling a variety of court assignments. During that time, she also served as a judge pro tempore. Prior to working for the Court, Judge Brnovich was with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in several areas including: Trial Bureau, Family Violence Bureau and the Training Division.
Judge Brnovich received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance and Spanish as well as her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Science in Finance through a joint degree program at the University of Wisconsin.
