About the Law Library
For over 90 years, the Superior Court Law Library has provided legal research assistance in Maricopa County.
Arizona Revised Statute §12-305 established the Superior Court Law Library in Maricopa County in 1913. Pursuant
to that statute, the Law Library's funding is obtained primarily from a percentage of filing fees from the
Superior Court of Maricopa County.
The Law Library location has changed through out the years. It moved to its current location at 101 W. Jefferson
in the East Court Building in 1995. In addition to offering a wide variety of online research databases, the
library houses approximately 150,000 volumes.
