Juvenile ProbationAdvisory Hearing DNA Testing
Effective September 26, 2008, A.R.S. § 8-238 has been amended to require juveniles charged with
offenses enumerated in the statute to report to their arresting law enforcement agency within five
days of their Advisory Hearing to submit DNA for testing. The Court is required to revoke the juvenile's release
when a Juvenile does not comply with the Court's order to a DNA test.
Please contact one of the listed law enforcement agencies for DNA testing procedures, requirements
and available testing times prior to your visit.
NOTE: Agencies may require identification or other documents before allowing the DNA test to be performed.
