Detention Services Bureau - Professional Visiting Hours
All visitors must refer to the assigned PO for approval and must have valid identification upon arrival.
Professional visits take place in individual visiting rooms in the public visiting area located in the Durango Detention Facility.
Professional visiting hours take into account detention meal times and the parent/guardian visiting schedule as family visits also take place in the public visiting area.
Personal items such as cell phones, keys, purses, food and drinks are not permitted in the visiting area.
Please be advised any paperwork brought into detention cannot have paperclips, clips, staples, pens and pencils etc. Consciously be aware of any items you bring into detention this will prevent detention wide searches any lost items.
Any items given to the juvenile books and or magazines will be considered a “donation to the unit”. Magazines with staples are NOT permitted.
